Our verdict

FundedNext suits a trader who wants a low entry price, a choice between tight and wide loss limits, and a fast 1-Step payout cycle. That comes with the funded news profit counting rule and the platform limits for automated trading. Stellar Lite is the cheapest route in, but its 8% static cap leaves less room than the 2-Step. Instant suits a trader who wants immediate access, but its trailing floor and lower starting split make it a different product, not simply a faster challenge.

What traders likeSupport issues refunds quickly for mistaken purchases, missed discount codes or unwanted renewals.Support staff are praised as responsive and helpful, typically resolving questions or account issues quickly.Reviewers stress there are no hidden rules or fees; terms are described as transparent.Traders like the drawdown structure (e.g. end-of-day, static or locking drawdown) and find it clear and fair.Traders report receiving their payouts as promised, without disputes over rules.KYC verification is described as quick and simple, with support stepping in when documents fail to verify.Reviewers say news-trading rules are clearly explained, and some value being allowed to trade around news. The AI chat assistant is described as fast and useful, with a handoff to live agents when needed.
What traders complain aboutReviewers report accounts being breached, banned, blocked or closed, frequently in connection with funded status or payout requests.Reviewers report funded or evaluation accounts terminated with little or vague explanation. Some report accounts flagged for alleged bot, HFT or automated trading.Complaints about heavy slippage and delayed fills, particularly in fast markets or around stops.KYC verification is reported as rejected or stalled, sometimes after evaluations were passed, with accounts closed.Refund requests are reported as refused or never processed.Traders find the consistency rule confusing or say it held up or reduced their payouts.Server outages, disconnects or platform glitches are blamed for losses and breaches.

FAQ

What does a FundedNext Stellar challenge cost, and is the fee refunded?Global list prices are one time payments. Stellar 2-Step costs $59.99 for $6,000 to $1,099.99 for $200,000, Stellar 1-Step costs $65.99 to $1,099.99, Stellar Lite costs $32.99 for $5,000 to $798.99 for $200,000, and Stellar Instant costs $59.99 for $2,000 to $599.99 for $20,000. The 2-Step fee is returned with the first reward, the 1-Step and Lite fees with the third reward, and the Instant fee is not returned.
Is the daily loss based on balance or equity?Stellar daily loss is balance based. It is calculated from the starting day balance, and the limit is 5% on 2-Step, 3% on 1-Step, and 4% on Lite. Instant has no daily loss limit.
Is the maximum loss static or trailing? On Stellar 1-Step, 2-Step and Lite, the maximum loss is static: 6% on 1-Step, 10% on 2-Step, and 8% on Lite, measured from the initial balance. On Stellar Instant, the 6% maximum loss trails the highest closed balance and is capped at the initial balance.
Can I trade news events?Yes without restriction during evaluation. On funded accounts and Instant accounts, only 40% of profit counts for trades executed from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after a high impact news event, while losses count in full.
Can I hold positions over the weekend?Yes, weekend holding is allowed on all Stellar models.
Can I use expert advisors?Expert advisors are allowed only on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, only for account sizes under $50,000, and only as an add on. Identical trades across accounts are not allowed, and you must not switch between automated and manual trading between the challenge and funded accounts.
What split do I keep, and when can I request the first payout?Challenges start at 80%, rise to 90% after scale up, and reach 95% with the Lifetime Reward add on. Instant starts at 70% in tiers 1 and 2 and reaches 80% from tier 3. Standard first payouts are at 5 business days on 1-Step, 21 days on 2-Step and Lite, and on demand at 5% growth on Instant.
Which countries cannot use FundedNext, and can United States traders join?Residents and citizens of 20 countries cannot access FundedNext CFD services, including Bangladesh, Belarus, Myanmar, North Korea, Syria, Malaysia and Vietnam. United States clients are accepted on CFD accounts, with Match Trader as the only platform for new United States CFD purchases.
