Who we are

Prop Firm Center (“we”, “us”) runs propfirmcenter.com, a site that compares prop trading firms. Questions about this policy: contact@propfirmcenter.com.

What we collect

When you click through to a firm

Links to firms go through a short redirect (/go/…) that records the firm, the destination link, the time, the page you came from (referrer) and your browser's user-agent string. We use this to count which firms traders visit. It does not include your name, email or account details.

When you ask for an email alert

If you leave your email to hear about a firm or a tool, we store that email address and what you asked to hear about. We use it only to send that notice. Reply or write to us to be removed.

When you contact us

Our contact and listing forms open your own email app; nothing is stored on our site. We keep the emails you send us to answer them.

Stored on your own device

Your saved firms and recent searches are kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, under its own privacy policy.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, and Google Analytics, which tells us which pages and tools are useful. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies, except for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, where it runs without cookies. We do not use advertising features, and we ask Google to shorten IP addresses. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Our social profiles and newsletter

Our pages on TikTok, Medium, Substack and other platforms, and any newsletter you join there, are run on those platforms. They handle your data under their own privacy policies.

Why we are allowed to use it

• Click records, visit statistics and security data: our legitimate interest in running, measuring and protecting the site.
• Alert emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Emails you send us: our legitimate interest in answering you.

Cookies

We do not set advertising cookies. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies as described above (not for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland). You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Firms you visit through our links have their own cookie policies.

How long we keep data

• Click records: up to 24 months, then deleted or kept only as totals.
• Alert emails: until you unsubscribe or the alert is no longer relevant.
• Emails you send us: as long as needed to answer and keep a record of the conversation.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the services that run the site (hosting, analytics and email) or when the law requires it. Firms may learn that a visitor came from our site, through the link itself. These services can process data outside your country, including in the United States, with the safeguards their own terms provide.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email contact@propfirmcenter.com and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. See also our terms & conditions.
