Prop firm position size calculator
Size every trade from your firm's limits, not from how you feel. Enter your daily loss limit, the room left to your max loss and your stop.
MNQ: $1 per tick (tick = 0.25). We size so that your losing streak uses at most the daily limit, and at most half of the room left to max loss.

FAQ
How many contracts should I trade on a $50K prop account?
Work back from the daily loss limit and your stop. If you want to survive 3 losses in a row with a $1,000 daily limit, each trade can risk about $333. With a 40-tick MNQ stop ($20 per contract), that is 16 micros, or 1 NQ with a much tighter stop.
Why use half of the room left to max loss?
Your losing streak should not take you within one bad day of the max loss floor. Using at most half keeps a buffer for the next day.
What is the pip value for forex?
On pairs quoted in USD, like EUR/USD or GBP/USD, one pip is $10 per standard lot. On other pairs it changes with the exchange rate, so enter your broker's figure.
