Kraken Prop Announces Up to 10x Leverage on BTC and Indices, 2026
On August 18, 2026, Kraken announced that Kraken Prop leverage was raised to up to 10x on Bitcoin, Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500, with increases on other markets. Kraken says evaluation pricing, drawdown rules, profit split and payout terms did not change.

Apex Retires Legacy Accounts for New Purchase on March 1, 2026
On March 1, 2026, Apex Trader Funding stopped selling its previous Evaluation and Performance accounts and began selling new End-of-Day (EOD) and Intraday products. Accounts bought before that date keep their old rules, and Legacy evaluations are currently available again during a limited-time promotion.
