How we rank and calculate

How we order firms

Lists start with the firms that have the most trader reviews, because more reviews give a more reliable picture. You can re-sort any list by rating, price, profit split, allocation and more. No firm can pay for a higher position or a better score, and commissions play no part in the order.

Where prices and rules come from

We take every price and rule from the firm's own website and help centre first: account sizes, prices, profit targets, daily and maximum loss limits, drawdown type, profit split and payout rules. When a firm does not publish something, we leave it blank instead of guessing. Firms change their terms often, so always confirm the final details at the firm's checkout.

How we calculate the cost

For one-time plans, the cost we show is the evaluation price plus any activation fee you pay after passing. For monthly plans, it is the monthly price times the number of months you expect to need, plus any activation fee. The calculator on each firm page lets you change the months. Resets, data or platform fees and taxes are not included.

Where ratings come from

Ratings and review counts come from Trustpilot and are shown exactly as published there, including any warning the review site shows. When a score is suspended, we leave it blank. When a review page covers a whole broker rather than the prop firm alone, we label it.

What traders like and complain about

We read 5-star and 1-star reviews that talk about payouts, support, rules and platforms, group them into themes, and count how many reviews in that sample back each theme. The themes describe what reviewers wrote. They are not our verdict on the firm.

Discount codes

We only show codes that the firm publishes on its own website. Every code carries the date we last checked it, and it disappears from the site if it has not been checked for 7 days or once its end date passes. Confirm the final price at checkout.

Price history and rule changes

Each time we update our data, we save a dated copy of every plan's price and rules. Comparing those copies gives each firm page a price chart and a log of what changed and when.

Corrections

If a price, rule or rating looks wrong, compare it with the firm's own site, then tell us through our contact page. We check it and fix the page.
