Best forex prop firms for weekend holding

Updated 2026-10-26

Short answer

Blue Guardian is our top pick for weekend holding, because it allows holding on all account types, including overnight and weekend positions. The firms below all allow weekend holding on the plan named, and we ranked them by how wide that permission runs, since several firms allow it only on some plans.

How we picked

We included only plans where weekend holding is allowed under the firm's own rules. Firms that close trades on Friday, or allow weekend holding only on crypto, are excluded. Plan figures below come from each firm's own rules page, and the firms we track differ most on whether the permission covers funded accounts too.

Frequently asked questions

Does weekend holding mean I can trade on Saturday?

Not usually. Weekend holding means open positions survive the weekend, not that new weekend trading is offered. Forex markets close, so a Friday position reopens at Sunday's gap price. Crypto positions are the exception on firms where crypto trades around the clock.

What is the main risk of holding over the weekend?

The gap. A position that closes Friday inside its limits can reopen Sunday beyond them, and the loss counts even though no new trade was placed. A static floor helps, since the floor does not move, but a gap through the daily limit still breaches the account on most plans.

Which firms close trades on Friday?

Several firms outside this page do, including on some plans only. Hola Prime closes trades at 15:45 Eastern on Friday for 2-Step Pro and Direct funded accounts, and BEM Funding requires forex, metals, indices, and energy positions to close before Friday, with only crypto positions held over weekends.
