We included only firms whose rules allow expert advisors on the plan under the trader's own strategy, with no purchased add-on and no pre-approval gate. Firms that restrict EAs to one platform, demand an add-on, or require support approval are left out. Plan figures below are the figures we track for each plan.

Best forex prop firms for EAs

Short answer
Fintokei is our top pick for EA traders, because its rules allow expert advisors outright, with no add-on to buy and no pre-approval step. The firms below all allow EAs under the trader's own strategy, and we ranked them by how few conditions sit between you and running your system.
How we picked
Fintokei states plainly that expert advisors are allowed. Its ProTrader plan costs $529 for $100,000, with 8% then 6% targets, a 5% daily loss limit, and a 10% static maximum loss, and its fee is refundable. That plain permission, plus a static floor, makes it the simplest home for an automated system.

Its 1-Step Standard plan now carries a 9% target and 3 qualifying days, with a 4% daily loss limit and a 6% trailing maximum loss. The restriction to watch is signal services, not automation itself.

ThinkCapital allows expert advisors on Lightning and both Dual Step versions on MT5, with no EA add-on listed in its current program tables. Its Lightning plan costs $499 for $100,000, with a 10% target, a 3% daily loss limit, and an 80% profit split. The platform limit matters: ThinkTrader accounts are manual only.

Lark Funding allows expert advisors, and its 1-Step plan carries no minimum trading days. The plan uses a 10% profit target, a 5% daily loss limit, and a 7% static maximum loss, with an 80% profit split. No minimum days means an EA is not forced to keep trading after its work is done.

Frequently asked questions
Do these firms allow any EA, including bought systems?
Not always. Most firms on this page allow EAs under your own strategy, and several restrict outside signal services or shared systems. E8 Markets allows one strategy per user, and Blue Guardian restricts outside signal services. Check whether your system counts as your own before you buy.
Which firms gate EAs behind an add-on or approval?
Several firms outside this page do. FundedNext allows EAs only on MT4 and MT5, only below $50,000, and only as an add-on. Hola Prime requires a purchased EA add-on on MT5 only. FXIFY requires support pre-approval on MT5 only. Those gates are the reason these firms are not listed here.
Does an EA remove the daily loss limit?
No. Automation changes how trades are placed, not the limits they must respect. A system that risks 5% in a day breaches a 3% daily limit just as a manual trader would. Set the system's daily risk below the plan's daily limit, and test it before running it live. Prop trading can cost you every fee you pay.
