Evaluation rules

Apex's current evaluation products have no consistency rule and can be passed in as little as one day, with a choice of end-of-day or intraday drawdown versions and one-time fees (legacy monthly accounts remain for existing users only). Earn2Trade's Trader Career Path and Gauntlet Mini apply a 30% consistency rule, a daily loss limit and an end-of-day trailing drawdown, so passing takes at least four profitable days in practice. For new subscriptions Earn2Trade replaced its progression ladder (for purchases on or after November 2, 2026, per the announcement) with fixed contract limits enforced at system level (a 50K account is capped at 4 contracts or 40 micros); older subscriptions keep the ladder.

Funded payout rules

Apex's EOD Performance Accounts require five qualifying trading days with a minimum daily profit of $100-$350 by size, a 50% consistency rule and a safety net (drawdown limit plus $100) before each request; the minimum payout is $500, approved requests pay at a 100% split, and each EOD Performance Account allows a maximum of six payouts, per the official EOD payout policy. Earn2Trade requires five profitable trading days before every withdrawal on LiveSim and Live accounts (non-consecutive, with size-based daily minimums of $100-$350), processes withdrawals weekly on Wednesdays, and sets a $100 net minimum. Earn2Trade's profit split depends on the single withdrawal size, per its policy table; LiveSim accounts have a maximum total withdrawal before an automatic move to Live.

Account limits and live paths

Apex allows up to 20 accounts and describes a live trading program that selected traders are invited into; its EOD payout policy caps each Performance Account at six payouts, and the policy does not state what happens to the account afterwards. Earn2Trade's LiveSim accounts have a maximum cumulative withdrawal by size (for example $3,000 on a TCP 50); reaching it moves the trader to a Live account automatically under the same five-profitable-days withdrawal policy.

Frequently asked questions

Which evaluation is faster to pass?

On paper, Apex: its current evaluations have no consistency rule and can be passed in one day. Earn2Trade's 30% consistency rule means at least four profitable days are needed to complete an evaluation.

What is the minimum payout at each firm?

Apex EOD Performance Accounts have a $500 minimum payout. Earn2Trade allows withdrawals from $100 net, processed weekly on Wednesdays, after five profitable trading days.

Is there a limit on how many payouts I can take?

Apex's EOD payout policy sets a maximum of six payouts per EOD Performance Account. Earn2Trade instead caps total LiveSim withdrawals by account size, then moves traders to a Live account automatically.

Do both firms offer live accounts?

Yes, differently. Earn2Trade moves traders to Live automatically once the LiveSim maximum withdrawal is reached. Apex describes a live program that selected traders are invited into, at its discretion.
