What is a profit split?
A profit split is the share of your funded profit that you keep, with the rest going to the firm. At every one of the 10 crypto firms in our data, that starting share is 80%, so $1,000 of funded profit pays you $800 and the firm $200.
Eight of the 10 firms offer a path above 80%. Breakout, E8 Perpetuals, Kraken Prop, Crypto Fund Trader and MyFundedPerps sell an upgrade at checkout, BrightFunded and BEM Funding raise the split through scaling, and For Traders Crypto raises its Instant split from 70% to 90% as you collect rewards. Only Propr and WenCrypto stay flat at 80% on every plan.
Worked example: on Propr, a $1,000 funded profit pays $800 in USDC on demand, with no waiting period and no limit on requests, and each payout sweeps all available profit, so you cannot take a partial amount. The split is only half the story, though, because the schedule decides when that $800 reaches you.
How quickly can you get paid?
Seven of the 10 firms offer on-demand payouts on at least one plan, so speed depends on the plan you pick as much as the firm. Breakout and Propr pay on demand at any time, E8 Perpetuals pays on demand on its One plan, and Kraken Prop pays at any time with processing within 24 hours.
Daily is the next step down. MyFundedPerps pays daily on Select, Prime and Signature, limited to one request per New York day, and on demand on Elite. E8 Pro takes daily requests too, with a first payout in as little as 0 days on its configurator.
The slower end is where traders get caught out. BrightFunded pays first only 30 days after your first funded trade, then every 14 days, and For Traders Crypto pays bi-weekly on Fast and Instant. Crypto Fund Trader pays after 15 traded days or 30 calendar days on its 1-Phase and 2-Phase plans, and WenCrypto pays every 10 business days.
Contrast the Propr example above with BrightFunded: the same $1,000 of profit also pays $800 at 80%, but your first request waits until 30 days after your first funded trade, and later requests run every 14 days by default. The split matches, and the wait does not.

What is the smallest payout you can request?
The smallest payout you can request runs from $20 to $150 across the firms that state a dollar minimum, with a median of $100. That median uses the 5 officially stated dollar minimums in our data: $20 at Propr, $50 at Breakout, $100 at MyFundedPerps and For Traders Crypto, and $150 at BEM Funding.
Read the basis before you compare the numbers. Breakout's $50 applies after the split, while MyFundedPerps' $100 is gross profit before the split, which pays $80 at 80% or $90 at 90%. BEM Funding's $150 comes from its One terms, which also require the request to be at least half the maximum daily drawdown amount.
Four firms state no usable dollar minimum. BrightFunded imposes no firm minimum, E8 Perpetuals uses a profit-threshold rule instead of a flat figure, Crypto Fund Trader published no minimum in the FAQ we checked, and Kraken Prop states no minimum on its official pages. WenCrypto lists $20 on a listing page, but its official FAQ states no minimum, so we do not count it in the median.
What catches people out on payouts?
The split and the schedule are the easy parts. The gates in front of a payout are what delay real requests. Three firms hold part of your profit back: E8 Pro holds part of shown profit as a buffer, BEM One Only requires at least half the daily drawdown amount to stay as a buffer after a reward, and WenCrypto caps the first withdrawal at 6% and the second at 8% before later withdrawals become unlimited.
Eligibility days also gate requests. For Traders Crypto requires 6 profitable days on Fast, 4 on Fast Pro and 7 on Instant, and BEM One requires no single day above 35% of total profit. MyFundedPerps locks trading on an account while a payout request is under review, and its lifetime cap is $100,000 received after the split, after which you cannot buy new accounts.
Some rules change once you are funded. MyFundedPerps locks the maximum loss floor at the starting balance after the first withdrawal on Select, Prime and Signature, so a payout that leaves no room above that floor can end the account. WenCrypto adds a 20% consistency rule on its Buy Now Pay Later funded accounts, which its evaluation stage does not have.
Two gaps stay open in our data. We could not freshly verify Crypto Fund Trader's payout terms in October 2026 because its official site was unreachable, so its figures here come from an earlier check. WenCrypto's own pages disagree on timing: its FAQ says every 10 business days, while its homepage says you can withdraw at any time, and its withdraw-any-day Genesis challenge is still coming soon, so we report the FAQ cycle and flag the conflict rather than picking one.
Kraken Prop also names no payout currency officially, saying only that payouts go to your Kraken account.
How do you pick a firm on payouts?
Pick on schedule first if you need cash quickly, then check the minimum against the profit you usually bank. If you withdraw small amounts often, an on-demand firm with a $20 minimum, like Propr, fits better than a bi-weekly firm with a $100 minimum. If you withdraw rarely and in larger amounts, the schedule matters less than the split and the gates.
Check the gates before you pay for a challenge, not after you pass. Read the buffer rule, the consistency rule, and the first-payout wait on the firm's own payout page, and confirm whether the minimum is measured before or after the split. That one check avoids the most common payout surprise: profit you can see but cannot yet withdraw.
Our view, as the Prop Firm Center team, is that payout terms are the clearest test of a firm: a high split means little if the first payout waits a month or a buffer holds part of your profit back. Prop trading can cost you every fee you pay, so treat the payout page as part of the price, not fine print.
Frequently asked questions
What profit split do crypto prop firms pay?
All 10 firms in our data start at 80%, so $1,000 of funded profit pays $800. Eight firms offer a path above 80% through a checkout upgrade or scaling, while Propr and WenCrypto stay flat at 80% on every plan.
Which crypto prop firms pay on demand?
Breakout and Propr pay on demand on all plans. E8 Perpetuals (One), Kraken Prop, MyFundedPerps (Elite), BEM Funding (One) and For Traders Crypto (Fast Pro) also offer on-demand payouts on at least one plan.
What is the smallest payout I can request?
Officially stated minimums run from $20 at Propr to $150 at BEM Funding, with a $100 median across 5 firms. BrightFunded imposes no firm minimum, and Kraken Prop states no minimum on its official pages.
Why is my first payout smaller than I expected?
Buffers and caps hold part of it back. E8 Pro holds part of shown profit as a buffer, BEM One Only keeps at least half the daily drawdown amount as a buffer, and WenCrypto caps the first withdrawal at 6% and the second at 8%.
Are Crypto Fund Trader's payout figures current?
We could not freshly verify them in October 2026 because the firm's official site was unreachable. The figures here come from an earlier check of its official FAQ and terms, and should be re-checked before you rely on them.
What if a firm does not name its payout currency?
Do not guess. Kraken Prop says only that payouts go to your Kraken account, with no currency named officially. Confirm the currency on the firm's own payout page before you pay for a challenge.
Prop trading carries a real risk of losing every fee you pay. This article is general information, not financial advice. Always read the firm's own rules before you buy.
How we got these numbers
Based on payout terms in our 10 crypto firm profiles (167 challenge rows, October 2026); split, schedule and minimum counts use all 10 firms, and the $100 median uses the 5 officially stated dollar minimums.
