Four clear paths from a cheap 2-step with high FX leverage to no-evaluation Direct. Fees are low for the size, Standard accounts carry no commission, and evaluation-stage news trading and weekend holding are allowed. Trade-offs: non-refundable fees, the 40% best day rule on on-demand payouts, tighter qualified-stage news rules, and a Trustpilot rating unavailable for a guidelines breach. Monthly Trustpilot scores, calculated from its published star counts, fell from ~4.8 (Nov-Jul) to 4.23 in August, 3.49 in September and 3.53 in part-month October, with 1-star reviews up from 14 to over 100 a month. How much does an Alpha Capital evaluation cost and is it refunded?One-time fees by plan, size and cycle: $47-$947 Alpha One, $33-$897 Alpha Pro, $70-$1,097 Alpha Swing, $30-$897 Alpha Direct. All evaluation plans are non-refundable.
Is the daily loss limit based on balance or equity?Alpha One and Alpha Pro 6% use the higher of the day's starting balance or equity; Alpha Direct uses the previous end-of-day balance or equity; Pro 8%, Pro 10% and Swing are balance-based. Open losses count. Reset 00:00 GMT+3.
What is the maximum loss rule?Alpha One 6% trailing, locking at the start balance once up 6%. Alpha Pro static 6/8/10% by variant. Alpha Swing 10% static. Alpha Direct 5% trailing, locking once up 5%.
Can I trade news?Yes in evaluation; on Alpha Swing, trades opened within 2 minutes of a high-impact release must stay open over 2 minutes. On qualified accounts, no trades on affected instruments 5 minutes before/after listed releases; breaching is a soft breach and that profit is not payable.
Can I hold trades over the weekend?Alpha One and Alpha Swing: yes at every stage. Alpha Pro: evaluation phases only. Alpha Direct: no.
Can I use Expert Advisors?Fully automated bots are banned everywhere. MT5 risk-management or trade-assistance tools are allowed with pre-approval from support. Alpha Direct allows no EAs at all.
Is copy trading allowed?Only from your own external account or between your own Alpha Capital accounts, after sending the account details to support. Copying other traders or groups is banned. Not on cTrader, DXTrade or TradeLocker.
