Pick Earn2Trade if…

  • You want no funded consistency rule: withdraw regardless of how profits spread across up to 3 funded accounts
  • You want no buffer requirement on the funded account, apart from the $100 minimum net withdrawal
  • You want a structured path: LiveSim withdrawals totalling $3,000 on the 50K move you to a Live account automatically
  • You want free resets when your subscription rebills ($100 otherwise)

  • You want a higher funded split: Topstep pays 90% on the Express Funded Account
  • You want small early cash-outs: Topstep's minimum payout is $125
  • You want an uncapped ceiling: the Live Funded Account has no payout caps and unlocks daily access to 100% of profits after 30 winning days

How do payouts compare?

Earn2Trade's funded split depends on the size of each single withdrawal: on the TCP 50, a withdrawal under $2,250 pays 50%, while $2,250 or more pays 80%. LiveSim withdrawals total at most $3,000 on the 50K before the account moves to Live automatically. Withdrawals are processed weekly on Wednesdays, requests must be emailed by 2:00 PM CT the preceding Friday, the minimum net withdrawal is $100, non-US customers pay a $50 fee per withdrawal, and the activation fee is deducted from the first withdrawal.

Topstep's Express Funded Account (XFA) pays a flat 90% with a $125 minimum. The Standard path needs 5 winning days of $150 or more and caps requests at 50% of the balance ($2,000 on a 50K). Live Funded payouts are uncapped.

Which rules catch traders out?

Earn2Trade's TCP 50 evaluation applies a 30% consistency rule, a $1,100 daily loss limit, a progression ladder up to 6 contracts, and a 15:50 CT close; news trading is allowed and there are no minimum days. Once funded, the daily loss limit and progression ladder still apply, all positions must be flat between 3:50 PM and 5:00 PM CT with no overnight holding, and you can hold at most 3 funded accounts, of which only 1 can be Live.

At Topstep, the 55% best-day rule raises your profit target if one day does too much of the work. In the funded account, the trailing Maximum Loss Limit locks at $0 once the balance reaches $2,000 of profit (50K) or after your first payout, whichever comes first, so the account closes if the balance ever returns to $0.

How do the funded accounts differ?

Earn2Trade's funded accounts are run by a partner prop firm: LiveSim accounts use an end-of-day drawdown, Live accounts use a trailing drawdown. There is no subscription fee once funded (except live data costs on the Live account), no minimum trading days to withdraw, no consistency rule and no buffer requirement.

Topstep's XFA is simulated, starts at $0, applies a scaling plan, and keeps the end-of-day trailing loss limit from the Combine. The Live Funded Account is a separate stage with a mandatory daily loss limit and uncapped payouts; Topstep's risk team decides call-ups at its discretion.
