Best 1-step forex prop firms

Updated 2026-10-26

Short answer

Leveraged ONE is our top pick among 1-step plans, because it pairs the lowest target on this page, 6%, with the lowest full $100K price, $188. The plans below all need a single phase to pass, and we ranked them by target first, since a lower target is the main reason to choose one phase over two.

How we picked

We included only plans with a single evaluation phase. Two-phase, three-phase, and instant plans are excluded, even when they cost less. Plan figures below are the figures we track for each plan, and the firms we track differ most on target size and drawdown type.

Frequently asked questions

Is a 1-step plan easier than a 2-step plan?

Not always. A 1-step plan usually carries a higher single target than either phase of a 2-step plan, and some 1-step plans use a trailing floor. Leveraged ONE is the exception here, with a 6% target. Compare the target, the daily limit, and the drawdown type, not just the phase count.

Why do 1-step fees often go unrefunded?

Because the firm takes more risk on a single phase. FTMO refunds its 2-Step fee with the first reward but not its 1-Step fee, while FundedNext and For Traders refund their 1-Step fees. A refundable 1-Step fee is worth real money if the first attempt fails, so check the refund term before buying.

What matters most in a 1-step plan?

The target first, then the drawdown type, then the payout speed. A 6% target with a trailing floor demands different risk control than a 10% target with a static floor, and a 3-day first payout beats a 14-day wait once funded. Match the plan to how you actually trade. Prop trading can cost you every fee you pay.
